Lynda D. Sims

Lynda Diane Sims, 64, died Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. A Savannah native, she worked for the Kicklighter Center for Developmental Services for 45 years. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church for 50 years. She never gained wisdom, wealth nor celebrity, but she gave love and hugs freely.

Surviving are her mother, Polly W. Sims of Isle of Hope; two sisters, Frances Sims DeWitt Buddy and Dusty Sims Duke all of Savannah; seven nieces and nephews, Landy DeWitt, III of Savannah; Lori DeWitt Hecker of Savannah; David DeWitt of Savannah; Lacy DeWitt Cabrera of Valdosta; Mark DeWitt of Savannah; Scott Duke of Spartanburg, SC; Stephanie Duke of Savannah.

Visitation will be Monday, October 29, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church Reverend Dr. Allan W. Bosson officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
